Re: esp-ibanez

Is it the white JEM505 or the black one? Because the black one will no doubt sound darker

Re: esp-ibanez

I personally dislike the Edge Zero and the JEM would be my choice out of that lot, but Iwould want to change the pickups on the 505.

The ESP is another great guitar and the OFR is a great bridge.

My vote goes to the JEM with new pickups.

Re: esp-ibanez

Personally, id go with the RG4570z... My reason being the fretboard compared to the ESP, the pickups compared to the jem (although they are changeble) and the mahogany body and flame maple top, seems quality is superior out of the 3.

I havent tried the edge zero so i cant comment.

Re: esp-ibanez

All necks are good, it depends on what you like as far as feel! Thats all its going to come down too. Do you like a flatter fretboard? A Wide thin neck? A smaller radius fretboard? Ebony? Rosewood?

Re: esp-ibanez

Well if you like the ESP neck better then that probably settles it for you. They're all nice guitars. Like i said i dont have any experience with the edge zero but i can tell you that the floyd is an oustanding tremelo with great tuning stability!

Re: esp-ibanez

the edge trem is a piece of crap. this may be personal preference but i dont like it at all. to me it doesnt move anywhere near enough as opposed to the floyd rose. also i'm not sure what your problem with the 85 is but its one of the better neck pickups.

Re: esp-ibanez

ESP - stunning neck, better trem than whats currently fitted to the others you mention. The M-II feels solid, very well put together and is a dream to play (for my hands, my amp etc).
