Favorite Neck Size

I want to know what is your favorite neck thickness. My personal favorite is the Wizard 2. My second favorite is the Wizard.

Re: Favorite Neck Size

I like the Jem carve, so I voted 'other'. Go figure I can play almost anything though, if given a bit of time to get used to it.

Re: Favorite Neck Size

I voted "other" as well. There is no Wizard Prestige option.
I like them all as well. It just takes a little time to adjust.
LP necks are great too. I'm just not crazy about the rest of the guitar.
Also, IMO, there should be a separate entry for the Gibson SG neck.

Re: Favorite Neck Size

Other. The neck on my '00 RG2020X is my favorite. According to the 2000 catalog it's called a Wizard, but I ain't buying it. It feels like it's twice as thick and far more rounded than any of the Wizards on my other guitars. In 2002 when the model changed to the 2120 they started called it an Ultra, and the 2120's I've played had the same neck shape as my guitar. Weird!

AFAIK my RG 2550 has a wizard neck, so I voted for that option.

Re: Favorite Neck Size

The Super wizard/ Original wizard are my best bet.
But i've only come across a few necks I could not bring myself to play.
