Man I wish I had one too, just I want it in mystic dream finish! I think that pic u just posted though is probably the only guitar (other than jem) that I like with gold hardware

That JP is astounding. The 2008 LE Seqouia gold finish is great, too.

I love the look of the JPs, but their necks (flat and D-shaped) aren't for me. The mystic dream finish is great, though. Too bad it costs $400 or so.

does that mean it might be cheaper to get a Ball Family Reserve one with a nice quilt top than the Mystic Dream finish?

I don't know, but the new JPBFR(?) also has an inlay with 'Ball family reserve', I think, and it's way more expensive than a JP6 if I'm not mistaking. Even one with the mystic dream finish. So probably not.

I've gone off the idea of a blue one. I'm now thinking of a natural oil finish koa with Floyd and H-H pickup config - Next year hopefully
