My faves are Dunlop Tortex (1.0mm). You know, the blue ones.

I vary sometimes but those are "Old Faithful" for me. My 2nd faves are either the .88mm or 1.14mm.

I thought the Jazz IIIs were 1.35 ish? They are definately thicker than my 1.14s and I use both.

I use those dunlop 2mm delrin standard shaped picks. I used to file the picking edge of them into a sharp point like a jazz pick, but recently I found that I like the scratchy sound of a standard shape pick. I can play just as fast with these picks as I could with a jazz shaped pick, and without any extra effort. It's all in your technique.

2mm Dunlop Big Stubby.
Idealy I would like to use the 2mm Tri-Stubby but for some unexplainable reason no one sells them in the UK.

I alternate between red nylon Jazz III, Dunlop 1.14 delrin and Pickboy 1.14 carbon nylon edge.

1mm tortex mostly.

Depends on the gauge of strings... heavier strings call for a thicker Pick.

I use very stiff picks.
at the moment purple Dunlop picks 2mm. and I´ve drilled quite a few holes and scratched the surface (where I hold the pick) for better grip.
I also like Pick Boy Hard 1.00 ; the white ones with "Lego surface" at the grip but they´re sometimes difficult to get hold of where I live.
might just visit that brooklyngear.com homepage and buy a hefty bag full of them...

I use the Dunlop .88mm all the time. I only started using them because Metallica use them. But overtime I have grown to love them, and cant use any other pick really. I have loads of them now.
