I thought the trems were the same 'Edge-Pro' types that they used in '03 and '04. Have I missed something here? (it wouldn't be the first time, lol)

Yes the necks are new, I guess maybe the lo pro 7 and lo pro trems came out last year. However I'm yet to see on in person on either VWH or UV777BK.
Either way pictures are always good regardless....

Yeah, only the necks are new... and yes, they do look awesome

now the new trems certainly dont ... i know maybe its just personal preference, i was looking at a 04 VWH yesterday and i really, reaaaally hate the way the EP looks... specially in gold with the lil chrome saddle thingys...

Well,, we need to get some good close up pics here so we can discuss the likes and dislikes,,, and maybe with enough pictures and some praise those who are on the fence will be able to make a sound decision.

Again,,,if not,,, at least we have some pics.

To answer your question 'Chopvai',

It's quite distinguishable from previous years just by the neck itself but then you've got this 'J-Craft' logo thing going on as well. The '05 models have a red-lined moulded case too.

Re: 2005 Jem7VWH or UV777BK

They're not 'rolling saddles', they're what Ibanez calls the 'sound-chip' saddle. It's the same saddle that's been on the 'Edge-Pro' trems since they were introduced in '03.

That is a chrome 'Edge -Pro' trem. Nothing new about it unfortunately!

Re: 2005 Jem7VWH or UV777BK

Wow it looks like the saddles on the G,D&A are barely holding anything at all,,or maybe it's just the light and angle. Cuz the Low E looks good, and appears to be relatively even with the others. Odd.

Has anyone heard whether there is a tool available yet for setting intonation on these new trems? I so wish I had access to CNC router again,,, cuz I would so be making that tool and selling em on this site!
