well, basically, you only have about 5 different styles color not withstanding. *

You have the DY, SK, LNG's with that particular neck,

You have the FP's and MC's with that neck

You have the VDY, VSK, DNA, DBK with the more wizard type neck

You have the VWH neck, which is *a little different than the rest

and I can't comment on the 90, or the Jem10 cuz I've never played them

So, basically, they all play great, so pick a color and go with it!!! LOL

The 90 plays very similar to a DBK so I'll put it into that category.

Apart from that, I'm with LGM. They all play great.

I just went and played with my Jems, I have *a DY, SK, FP, and *a VWH, and I must say, the VWH is the best IMO. *The FP is my least fav out of the 4, I love the neck shape on the DY and SK, but I don't really like the older frets, I'll probably change them, but the VWH rocks, and they are all incredible, just the VWH is my favorite!

All are great guitars and play exceptionally well. It's sort of a matter of personal preference. I have never played a 10th, which according to Jemsiters, is the ultimate Jem. But, I have played a DNA, VWH, 90th, FP, VBK, DBK, DY, SK, and a few UV's. I prefer ebony boards and the aanj. So, my vote would be in favor of the VWH and 90th. --rvj

The vsbl has a rosewood fretboard as opposed to the 7vwh's ebony. *That's a HUGE difference if you ask me. *I'd much prefer the ebony board.

The vwh was always my fav. *It practically played itself. *I could pick it up with cold fingers that hadn't played for a couple of days and instantly it sounded like I had practiced for hours! *It was great. *For versatility of tone, I like my DBK. *I can get a lot of cool rock and blues tones on it. *More blues tones than the vwh. *Maybe it's the Breeds? *I liked the Floral pattern and VBK, but didn't own them long enough to get attached.

I've always prefered Ebony over Rosewood, even before I got my Jems. IMO, the 7VSBL has one strike against it because of that alone. The second strike is the blue/white combo. The third strike is that it actually costs more than the 7VWH. Too bad... I actually like the blue. --rvj
