555 or 7V?

I'm buying a new Jem next week to upgrade from my RG.
I'm debating with myself whether to get the 555 or the 7V (which is double the price of the 555 by mail order).

What in your opinion is my best option? I really hate the trem on the RG470's whammy bar system and i've heared that the Edge trem system is far better for keeping the bar in place without completley destroying the threads. If i'm right then, it's the same trem on the 555.

Please help

If you can afford the 7V, then there really is no choice here. The 7V is the better guitar.

I don't know prices in Ireland, but for England and other countries, getting one from Rich (IbanezRules banner above) should be cheaper than local dealers, even after taxes and shipping.

Good luck!
