7 strings? - I'm running out of strings

Greetings,

I use D'Addario XL strings for my UV and 2027.
I had packages of Schecter 7s and would use
the Bs with the beloved XLs. I'm now running
out of strings and plan to purchase XLs in bulk.
I'm having trouble figuring out where to get single
strings in bulk (adding the 7th string).
Please help
Thanks,
Jeff

7 strings?

I buy D'Addario XLs too - a heavy guage .012 to .056 set, then I buy a .009 E string to complete the seven! Maybe that would work for you, too?

D'Addario sells 7-string sets of 009s and 010s.

Am i missing the point of this thread or did you just not know that?

7 strings?

www.juststrings.com has S I T 7-string sets in 10-58 for just over $4.50 per set. Also they have a GHS 10-60 set for $5.50 which I'm gonna check out. Hope that helps. *

7 strings?

Fred's music has 10 sets of 7 string 9s for $43.00.

i get D'Addario 7-strings sets at cost from them at $3.50 a pack, so $4.30 a set is a decent price (please don't ask me to get you that price i Dadd's - i can't.)

Good luck

7 strings?

Ernie Ball still sells the XL 7-string sets. To me they feel and sound the same. In fact, I think they are made by D’Addario, or at least in the same factory.

I gotta disagree w/ Bob on the string bit... EB strings feel WAY different than D'Addario strings - to me, anyway.

The EB are "grittier," and I like it that way...
