Go on the Fender forum and ask them what they think if somebody tells them a 54 Strat is crap
It was probably a stupid question to ask here, but it wasn't him saying it, he was quoting an "Expert?" , im not trying to defend him or anything its just that he was going off what he read, i believe he said that the 777 are excellent guitars.

It was just that some loser from nowhereville decided to have a go at the Jems and thats what he is commenting on, the remark that the dipstick made on the 777 series.

If anyone has one of these "super crappy" 777LNGs that they want to get rid of, by all means, send it to me.

The 777VBK are great players, I had one for awhile but sold it this year to someone whom I believe is 'Ibanez777vbk'

Re: 777 series crap or not ????

I have bought a jem 777vdy recently(see my other posts) as i play an rg 560 for my main guitar and wanted something similar for my second axe, i was very happy to come across this one. even though it is a great guitar i still like my rg better but i can pick up the jem and provided i dont look at it my fingers feel it is almost identical.
i think any ibanez rg/jems from the late eighties early nineties are superior guitars. even though i have played esp's and jacksons over the years i always come back to these era ibanez.
