is the 7DBK any good?

im trying to buy a guitar, i really want the VWH but i cant get it here in israel

we have the 7DBK in stores, 2003 models with the new bridge

should i buy it or just keep looking for a white one?

i mean it looks cool, i like the paint job but i think the parts are cheap

like an RG with the "jem" tag on it

on the other hand if i ant the white i need to get it from someone oversea
(and if any of u wanna sell his 02' vwh and willing to ship it here, plz email me [email protected])

wich is a hassle and u never know what u get

plz let me know what u think
thanx

Wait for the guitar you really want. That's my advice. I don't understand why you think the hardware is cheap...there's nothing cheap about a Japanese RG's hardware. What were you expecting?

there is nothing cheap about the DBK's hardware. Except maybe the inlays, but then they're pretty cool.

the VWH has gold hardware, which i guess would be more expensive than the chrome on a DBK. Both have the same bridge. Also the VWH is made from alder, which is more expensive. And of course the inlays. Anything else i've missed?

I have one of each, definitely happier with the 7VWH. I drool just looking at it... and it plays a lot smoother in my opinion. Order one : D

I have a 7VSBL from which I understand is a 7VWH in blue with rosewood fingerboard. I also have a 7DBK. The necks have quite different profiles. In fact, I prefer the 7DBK.

Necks are very different.
the 7DBK neck feels a lot like a Wizzard (RG5xx/7xx) and the 7VWH feels like.........well a jem neck.
Big difference.

All the hardware is exactly the same except the colour.

I don't get the point that everybody thinks golden hardware is more expensive than the black hardware...
Are there really people who think this is real gold

The proces give the thin gold layer is exactly the same as giving it a black finish!
