Hi,I'm not 100% sure on the actuall paint used,But it's the texture underneath,Get yourself a chip, take along to your local paint supplier, ask to colour match the chip, get it in a can, along with a can of clear and touch up until your finished and happy with it...Alternatively refinish the whole body,I know someone who does textured finishes

Where are you located ?

Regards

Rob

Thanks Rob,

I'm in Swansea.

I gig the guitar every week, so I can't afford for it to be out of action more than a few day's, I was really looking to repair the chips myself.

if ever i get a chip in my DBK, i touch it up with a black marker pen. Seriously, it works really well, give it a go.

Works great, I've touched up many a headstock ding with these, and a few body chips.

Personally though, I don't bother touching up my own guitars, you should see (what's left) of my 1990 RG 550. :-)

We have a winner

Well it looks like a good ol' marker pen is the winner.

Thanks for the advice.
