ANOTHER Swirl paint job

Here is my latest in Red multi-color. It is still drying, I just did it about an hour ago. it doesn't look as good in the pics due to still being wet and bad picture quality

Re: ANOTHER Swirl paint job

orange peel is when you spray paint and when it dries is similar to an orange peel. With this being swirled I don't think it is even possible to get orange peel. The paint is wet and there is still water on it in the pics.

I think it looks great. Like strawberry ice cream! Nice color selection.

Re: ANOTHER Swirl paint job

I heard that it's because the paint dries too quickly, so it bubbles when air gets trapped under the skin of paint. When the paint is applied on the body it's kind of like a film or curtain like dressing holding up to the guitar.

anyways looks cool

Re: ANOTHER Swirl paint job

I think it looks fine (7 out of 10 for my personal taste). The bubbles are not that bad. What I don't like to much is the smearing of the black. Don't know if the white is primer or part of the mix.

Overall it looks to me that the colors are too thin.
