Any Canadian JEM owners?

I'm looking for an authorized dealer in the Toronto area to fix the action on my JEM 77FP circa 1988. It's too high and I think my anchors are turned as low as I can go. I need professional hands to care for my baby.

if you really don't want to do it yourself, just take it down to a tech...otherwise check out the tech section here and do it yourself. there's nothing to it really

I know of three Ibanez dealers - Steve's down on Queen, LA Music on Lakeshore in Mississauga, and some other one at around Young & Dundas

Hahaha, funny...I have the exact same model from '88

One thing I've done to lower the action on my other guitars is I've adjusted the truss rod different ways.

I wouldn't put the trem posts all the way down, because you'd get alof of buzzing...but you'd want a slim bow inwards so you dont get buzzing on the high frets.

if that doesn't work, you could try shimming the neck heel or the lock nut...

But, it'd probably be your best idea to take it down to The Twelfth Fret on Dundas...I hear they do some excellent repair/setup work.
