Anyone Have a 7VWH & VSBL? Need Opinions Ebony vs. Rosew

I am considering a JEM 7VWH but I am not certain I will like the ebony fingerboard. Maybe it's not a drastic difference between the ebony and rosewood (VSBL).

I'm hoping someone tha owns both of the above guitars can provide a "Sonic Evaluation" for me. I could just by a a VSBL but that VWH sure is perty!

i dont have both, but I doubt there'll be much diff between the audibly. i love the vwh neck on my guitar. i dont find it feels a heck of a lot different to the rosewood board on my PRS, but its a joy to play nonetheless, and the vwh is a much prettier guitar. imo.

sounds wise its not gona make a huge amount of difference but there WILL be a slight difference all the same in sound, depends on your ears if you pick it up or not i guess. imho the ebony adds a tightness and direct punch to the overall sound but that is just me.

feel wise: you will prob love ebony, a good slice is like playing on something as smooth as glass.

to me jems are all very differnt, as i have said before i have player quite a few of the same guitar (all well setup by the same person) and have only liked one or two of them.

i have a vsbl for a few reasons: it felt right and sounded right (the others i have tryed, bar one, havent felt as good) and i happen to think they look nicer than the vwh
