Anyone tried the JSX

I am desperate to find out what these are like because on paper they seem like my ideal amp, Only probelm is I can't find a shop within 100 miles that has them yet and there's no reviews on harmony central either.

Cheers

Darren

I don't think they're out yet...I checked on musiciansfriend and they say it's not out yet. Don't know though. None of the guitar shops in New York had it in when I looked.

JSX

I ordered one a month ago...

Peavey is expecting to have the europe production Half July...

They should be comming in into the Europe Distrubotor in the UK by the end of this month (July).

ANd should be in the shops in august...

The source of this info is an email I got 2/3 weeks ago from international sales at Peavey US. And was confirmed by a contact I have at Peavey UK.

Fingers crossed...

Of course this can all change...That amp sould have been out end of april in the US now I think it is end Of JUly...

I hope it won't change...but I wont be surprised...

Latest info about the JSX amp

The latest information I have is that we expect to have this in production in August, which more than likely means September before you see these in Europe.

It seems that they have problems with the delivery of the chrome faceplates AGAIN. This was why they pushed the dates back before...

I'm not happy at the moment...

The JSX is now shipping, according to Peavey. I ordered mine at the NAMM show, so it should show up soon I hope.

Is the JSX just a Amp head?
Or does it have a speaker in it aswell?
and whats the wattage of it?

it's a 120W head, using el34 tubes (can be used with 6l6gc, too).

that's the reason i'm not getting one... 120w tube is just insane, i'm getting an engl screamer with 50w

i don't know of a combo and don't expect peavey will make one, tbh. but they might, there's different XXX combos and a 5150 combo aswell..

I dont really want to say peavey is bad or make them look bad but to me the JSX ( i did a little research ) The JSX just looks like a amp head with loads of effects in it.

not trying to make you look bad acoustic1991, just my opinion
