Bad factory wiring on 7dbk

Hello all.
I just pulled apart my 7dbk to install evos and put the breeds into my older rg470. I've had no problems with the JEM instrument before but now I see that the wiring is definately not in tune with the Ibanez guide from the web and here. Has anyone ever encountered this? The green and reds are joined instead of the black and whites, and the single coil colors are off. I'm not an electronic guy so I'm in trouble here unless I fork out the bucks for the repair guy. Any help would be appreciated.

You can wire it 10 different ways to do the same thing. If you remember how it came apart rewire it the way it was. If not, rewire to the diagram.

If you get really stuck, there is a site called guitar electronics . com that was the wire colours and north/south pole wiring schematics which will help out

Re: Bad factory wiring on 7dbk

My 7dbk was actually wired differently than any of this diagrams I found. I installed S.Duncans so it made it a bit tougher at 1st because of the color differences, but if you are going to drop Dimarzios in anyway, just match them up to how the Breeds were soldered and you should be fine.
