BFP Project Ideas

Hey folks,
I came across these parts on evil bay from a gent in Singapore…pups and neck from an 88 BFP:

I've done this before…grabbing random parts on evil bay and started running with it…that's how I got my first Universe (ICE)…it started as a UV7PWH body in poor condition and turned into quite the beauty after a couple of years of finding the remaining original UV7PWH parts….

I'd like some ideas from the creative brain trust of this forum…what would you like to do if you had these parts for a Jem BFP?

Thanks!

Re: BFP Project Ideas

Either a blue or black body with a pearloid pickguard would look cool IMO...

Make that +2... love that look. Would be over the top with that neck inlay.

Re: BFP Project Ideas

I'd spend a few years waiting for a real BFP body in decent shape. In the meantime- spend a ton of time restoring that neck.

Re: BFP Project Ideas

Would there be any way to strip the paint but keep the fabric, then redo the paint, clear coat, etc? That faded spot will always be there but you can do something cool with it, who knows

Re: BFP Project Ideas

I know you have the pickups, body and neck.
Do you have a clear pickguard, blue knobs, blue switch tip, switch, pots and hardware?
