Breeds vs. Evos vs. PAF in a UV777BK

So...I've got a Dimarzio EVO7 bridge and a PAF7 pickup. They formerly resided in my ESP H-207 but since the guitar got sold I'm keeping the good pickups. I suspect that the PAF7 is actually a bridge pickup but I'm not exactly sure how to tell the difference.

At any rate....I'm thinking of replacing the stock Breeds in my UV777BK with them, or at the very least the EVO7. What sort of tonal differences are there between the two pickups? What about perhaps the PAF7?

Thanks...

As my esteemed colligues will tell you the stock pickups in a uv are blaze II's not breeds and they are supposedly the highest output 7 string pickup that dimarzio makes but in any case i think evo in the nack and PAF in the pridge would be sweet

They'd be better reversed - Evo Bridge, PAF neck. That's what i have and it's real nice. I use it in my Jem too.

Also put higher output middle p'ups in both guitars to balance out the sound better.

And there's no such animal as a Breed7.

Two Hands - Very well put...couldn't have said it better myself

But, yes, EVO7 bridge and PAF7 neck is a very good combo.

I know Seymour Duncan will do that (for the low low price of one arm plus one leg) - not sure if Dimarzio does that.

Sure, Dimarzio will do customs. Call them up and tell them what you want
