The pickups and neck are really great. I played one at the store I used to work at, even got to bring it home, and it was the best guitar I had in the house at that point. If you want a guarantee in quality of what your getting, order from the Ibanez Rules banner above.

The neck IS nice and fast.
The pickups... I love the Breeds, but I have to admit, I didn't hear enough of a difference between the neck and bridge pickups. But they both were very warm and dynamic. Very... middle of the road. And I don't mean that in a bad way.

I also like the neck pickup- but after experimenting a little, I found that scewing it way down into the cavity creates a better tone than up near the strings. You may want to try it and see if you like it.

I did just the same as you are going to do. I bought a DBK in the US and shipped it over here. Any questions, feel free to ask.

As for the neck and pickups, well the others summed it up nicely. I love the neck on mine.

i love my DBK!! you can't get a better NEW jem at that price. Rich is a very good choice to buy from (plug) as he is known for the care and TLC he gives to the guitars he sells (1 to 2 hrs of setup)! he seems very passionate (as most of us are!) about the guitars he sells and his reputation is bar none- top rated!! i don't think you can go wrong with a DBK! good luck!
