Caring for a UV (unfinished) neck.

Does anyone know what Ibanez recommends as far as caring for the unfinished neck on the UV777PBK?

I've heard Tung Oil mentioned, but I'm a little hesitant, since I don't know what, if anything, Ibanez treated the neck with in the first place.

Recommendations?

I would recommend leaving it alone, and using 2000 sand paper if/when it gets tarnished.

I'm not concerned with tarnish, I'm concerned with keeping the wood relatively stable in the midst of changing weather conditions so I'm not doing setups every other day.

I dont use anything on multiple UV's from the early 90's and have never had an issue. I find that the natural oils from my hand are more than enough.

Tung-Oil will make your neck glossy, sticky, and yellowish. Awful to say the least, to me. Do some searches on neck (re)finishing within the Tech setup section in the forum and you should get a wealth of info on this.
