Cavity behind bridge on UV vs. Lionclaw cavity on Jem

Just a small question, how deep is the cavity behind the bridge on a UV guitar compared to the Lionclaw on the Jem?

Kind Regards

looking at my guitars it seems to be about the same depth. The UV cavity goes in sharper, while on the Jem the lion claw has a slope before reaching the bottom. Neither of the two is any different to pull up on the bar with, and i have certainly never hit the back of the trem into the body of either guitar.

The lion's claw really is just cosmetic.

On Vai's original green meanie, he routed out little finger-like channels to give clearance for the saddle locking bolts at the butt end of the original Floyd. On the JEMs, it's the big square rout that gives that clearance (as on all RGs), and the lion's claw is just there for show.

OK, thanks for the reply. That's what I thought the Lionclaw was basically a show of but anyway it's cool.
