Re: Chibanez sold in malaysia's forum :(

Statement from the seller
This guitar is make by 100% same wood quality as original one. Especially the whole part of the neck including inlays. You will hard to justify it's authenticity even though you own a genuine one.
The body is made by Basswood. Neck is made by 3 piece of Canadian maple plus 2 layer of rosewood, the dimension is 0% different to the original one. The fret is made by rosewood. And the Inlay is genuine abalone shell inlay!!
If you think the replica pickup couldn't satisfy a professional player, you'll have to change your mind now. This guitar comes with the Korean OEM pickup which is commonly use by all Korean made guitar. And none of my customer complaint on it but appreciate!!
The floyd rose part is old type floyd rose, of course not the lo pro lah! With this price!!
The serial number can be exactly track online as a genuine serial number!
PM me for the price now!!You must be wondering how could we make this guitar so close to real thing!! Because it is clone from a original Ibanez JEM 7V WH!! This guitar has appeared many times on TV and Famous show in public by using of my customers.

You can tell the neck heel's been resculpted to the body aanj, looks like it anyway. But what's disturbing is how much closer all the details points are that used to make them easy to spot.

The first thing to strike me as obviously fake was definitely the bridge.

Strange how the seller not only admits it's a copy, but tries to justify illegally copying a JEM.

Seeing that fake rubbish only makes me love original Ibanez guitars even more. I dont know how anyone would want to settle for any thing less.

Even if I couldn't afford a real jem I wouldn't want the fake one. Id feel dirty :P

I took one look at the logo on the headstock. It looks like someones just laid a piece of gold aluminium foil on there.

Thankfully the bridge is way off other than that they are getting closer and closer to the look of a real one.

That's the worrying part, eventually they'll copy the bridge as well and other parts perfectly

Re: Chibanez sold in malaysia's forum :(

hmmm, are there any legal repercussions for someone buying one of these? Who knows, it might actually be a playable guitar. I'd certainly be willing to give it a try for the right price. If you play for 5000 people this year, maybe 10 will know what a Jem is, and one of those will be able to identify a fake. The rest of the people will just see that you can tear it up. Don't be a snob. It's just a block of wood with strings. It not that big of deal.

Where do I order one?

Yea, you finally cut a CD that people actually like. So much so, they're actually willing to pay for it and buy it. But then 20 other bands decide they'll record your songs too, and they sell more CD's than you do, and you sell less because of it. You make less money, maybe none at all, because they're well known, and you're, a nobody. But then, what's the harm? It's only a few notes, right?

That my friend is a great analogy.

btw: I was trying to absurdity to point out the obvious. Of course a guitar is really more than block of wood and strings. Which is why no Epi will ever compare to my real Goldtop...ever.
