Considering an alternative superstrat after selling my JEM777VDY (Yellow Vine)

Hi all - I just got thinking tonight after watching some Vinnie Moore vids. I might sell my last remaining JEM, which is a rare JEM777VDY to recoup some cash and move onto 'alternative' less-Vai superstrats like the Fender/Heartfield Talon (same Ibanez factory) and the Floyd Rose Redmond series. Don't get me wrong, I love Ibanez guitars but I sell them in my guitar shop job and get to play on/am surrounded by them 5-days-per-week! Also get to play Jackson and Vigier guitars alot but can't really settle on one I really like. One things for sure that it needs to have a genuine Floyd Rose on it and be a strat shape. Any ideas?

Looks much better than the Talon, plus, youll have plenty of cash leftover from the Jem

Jumping firmly on the current Charvel bandwagon. The necks are lovely.

or you could try a VSBL, they aren't really associated with Vai

Although I cant for the life of me figure why one would abandon the quintessential super strat in order to pursue another super strat I would chime in with the Charvel support....until I discovered JEMs...they were IT for me....of course...now they're second best.....but...I can appreciate the idea of not necessarily wanting Vai's guitar.

Also look into GMW. They are a small private company in CA who originally did all the fancy graphics for Jackson in the early years. They are expensive, but are considered experts of super-strat guitars now.
