a cool gift for a fellow axeman ?

In your opinion what would be a great gift for a fellow axe grinder ? Don't hesitate to push the envelope a bit ....

A pedal that he has been wanting for a while.

One of those super expensive cables.

What price range are we talking?

Re: a cool gift for a fellow axeman ?

My GF gave me 100 custom picks.

I happened to receive them in the mail while I was talking to her on the phone one day last August, near my Bday. It was kinda funny because I had entered a contest from Steve Clayton Picks to win 100 custom picks and a week later this bag of 100 custom picks showed up in the mail. I was telling her how weird it is that these picks already have a cool (Skull) logo with my name (TJ Bones) on them but how confused I was that: 1) the bag wasn't from Steve Clayton, 2) how in the heck did they get my address? and 3) why I wasn't asked to design my own logo?. She finally started laughing at me and told me Happy Birthday!!! I'm definitely not a Sherlock sometimes.

That was a cool gift.

(can't go wrong with a new guitar if I was given a choice.....but cool stage clothes or guitar accessories will work )

Re: a cool gift for a fellow axeman ?

I posted this question last year. Pedals are a good choice, I think, there are so many out there and they're always fun to play with. Even if the recipient eventually doesn't like it, he or she will get a kick out of putting it through the paces.

I bought my brother a digital recorder last year, a good choice for any musician.

Peace

Mike
