Cool little mod on my BFP - ...are you sick of hearing about

bob lynch and I got together today and did a three-way switch on our hardware...My RG got the corroded cosmo-black from the BFP, bob got the regular black from my RG and I got Bob's gold hardware from his 570-cst. *I really really like it- the headstock especially

Check it out...

I didn't think it would look so hot... i'd normally say chrome would go better with the blue. But with that maple fretboard, the gold really harmonizes beautifully with it. Great call! Looks excellent!

It's amazing what simple things such as changing the hardware color can do to a guitars appearance! *Gold is my fav when it comes to hardware. *Gold and black, specifically. *Take a look at my Jem10 conversion to gold... sweet!

The BFP looks great. *I highly recommend keeping it this way!

Keep the gold it looks great. It really does improve the overall look of the guitar.

Thanks for all the nice words guys...I'm glad I'm not alone in this feeling of satisfaction. *Best part is, no $$$ changed hands - Bob and I did an even trade. *His guitar (with my old hardware) is up in the 'other 6 string' forum if you want to see it.

It's definitely staying like that. *I only wish there was a way i could get a bar to match - Kevan thinks spray paint will be gone in 2 gigs. *Anyone ever have any success in creating a gold bar for a player?

I put another guitar hangar up on the wall today to make sure i don't forget about my UV - the hard part now is deciding which one to take on the gig...I have waaaaaaay too much stuff to carry to my gigs to start bringing two guitars on a regular basis. *This is like trying to choose a favorite child.

i just love lookin' at that guitar. *I'm going to have a stiff neck from turning around so much (it's on the wall behind me). *i can't believe I've only had it for 4 days! *i keep waiting for the dream to end.

...and i actually got a compliment out of Rich! *(couldn't crack Glen's pokerface though :lame: )

oh - and i want royalties from the next guy here who does it!!!

hey, the JPGs work! I haven't seen the axe until just now.

I'm glad you enjoy it... that is what's most important. I'm not into GOLD all that much myself. Either way congrats on the BFP ...glen
