crystal planet strap =)

I made myself a crystal planet strap. Wish I could have found clear loops and locks.

Re: crystal planet strap =)

Thanks guys, I gotten pretty good at making guitar straps, their not very hard.

Rich, Oh yeah. She was together this past weekend I have been making backplates etc.. I will make pickup rings sometime after I get some recording done. She sounds great!! Very very active. It does seem more stable then a basswood body. Thanks Rich.

Um... if I read this correctly (and the fretboard seems to back this up), that's not a CP, but a CP replica you made?

If so, VERY well done!

Try dropping Dimarzio a line, telling them about your project and wondering if they could custom produce clear cliplocks for you - someone just had some custom strap work done for them over in the gear and equiptment forum, and they were great about it- this'd be much more major, but if they get enthused, it might be worth a shot.

Re: crystal planet strap =)

Well good eyes! I had a mishap with my JS1000BP and called Rich to buy a extra body. He had this spaire CP body so I got it =) So now I can play and work on the old body and use it as a stand by.
