Crystal Planet surface scratches - how to buff out?

I just grabbed another Crystal Planet that is near mint, but does have one area with some surface scratches on the back.

Is there a safe way to buff these out?

It pretty much acts like a couple inch thick clearcoat. You can wet sand and buff just like you would clear. Anything really deep you can fill with CA like you would clear.
