Custom Swirl Choices

This really isn't a poll and I am talking about a JEM, so I posted here.

I am going to make a custom swirled JEM, and after seeing a variety of combinations lately, I am a little undecided.

If you were to do a custom swirl, what would your color choices be?

I'm hoping to get a red/black/silver swirl on my/a UV pickguard. That'd go nice with the red pickups.

My favorite swirl ever was that red/back/white/(i'd have put silver in too)Jem PBK that was sold on the Bay a few months back (it's in Herc's swirl gallery if you've never seen it.)

From that same Herc page, I like the purple with the purple pyramids and the light blue/dark blue trans-swirl. The thought of that swirl with my BFP neck and pickups makes me drool!

I love the broad swirls Herc does.

I'm having the same problem ! ! ! !

I love the cereal killer guitar, but I hate some of the "normal" swirls.

In my opinion there shouldn't be that much different colours in a swirl.

from one colour to another and then the colours between them. That's all.
Like white to black, with a few shades of grey in between them.
Darren is also talking about flakes and silver and gold...
There are too much options... to many ...

I am having Darren (ATD) swirl a custom Heatley 7 string for me. I'm thinking "wicked sunset" colors: Purple, Red, Orange, Yellow, Blue/turquiose. Should be cool. Picking out colors is more difficult than I expected.....good luck.

I'd probably do black-dark blue-slightly lighter blue-light blue.

I like a Green/Black swirl the best, but that's not original Other than that I'd probably say darkish red/black or if you could find some way to do a mirror and black or maybe something UV sensitive...

I have to agree that lately some of the simpler two or three color swirls have really caught my eye. I love cerealk's blue multi color and am getting ready for a shocking pink and black swirl on my SK and have already talked to Herc about doing it. Too many colors are too busy. (unless you get the groovy chaos thing going, eh Scott?)

I think you should use Black, flourecent black and neon black and dark back, that should be original.... no but, seriously I think it would be cool to have black, white, silver and red, but use 2 or 3 different shades of red and silver, maybe even some grey. i've never seen dfferent shades of the same color in a swirl, I think it would be unique.

Eddie,

I was thinking that I do the neon's from the color spectrum. Did you get my email so I can get the project started?
