Glen, Herc's site has been down for a long time now. Do you know what's up?

A little while longer and he will start loosing all his engine links....

look in WEBLINKS menu

I spoke to Herc this week... his website is being redone and there were some host problems. I agree I would not let the error pages stay more than a few days.

Looking foward to seeing the new site, offerings, etc... glen

Have any of you guys got an inlay done by Herc?

If so, are you happy with the result?

Finally, if possible can somebody post some pics of inlay work... *please

Wow, an all abalone vine... How much did that cost? Maybe he can replace my vwh's vine with abalone instead of plastic

Rite on, that looks very nice! Did he just replace the Pink Vine with Abalone?

That neck/guitar was a UV7BK, check the strings, 7, hehe, no, he took out the green dots and put in the vine.
And Kremlin, you'd be better off replacing the fretboard and having an abalone vine put it, it's not worth screwing with the plastic in the previous neck, plus, you route the fretboard to fit the shell, not the other way around, it's do-able, but much more time consuming.

Keep in mind, the pryamid inlays will not cover the dot inlays as an add on.

Herc or one of the places on the net stated that they could make the pyramids cover the existing dot inlays.

Pyramids will cover the dots better than a vine will actually, exception being the 24th fret and maybe 12 where the dots would be replaced with Rosewood or ebony plugs to better hide them.
