DBK advice. How much to spend?

Whats a good price for these? I have seen two used in a few stores for about 1100. Is this a good price?

Another question- are breeds any good? I've never tried them. Are similar to blazes? Are they good for heavy stuff?

Thanks for any advice jemsiters, I love you.

Re: DBK advice. How much to spend?

in a store, yes. if you buy from Rich, its even better hes got one too. yes, breeds are very nice pickups, i prefer Evo's because they are so hot. Breeds arent as hot, but still are very rich and sound great on the DBK. If you want to take a chance, buy one on **** for 950. If not, buy in your stores or from Rich (ibanez rules) he'll give you a great setup, or just buy in your stores 1100 used is a good price but PLAY IT

Why wouldn't ya, it's not like you can scratch it with anything besides a screwdriver. What is that, tar?! I hear the breeds are right between the PAFs and the Evos in terms of "hotness"
