Did some DBKs come with scallped necks?

Hello guys,
I have a quick question, my DBK has a neck with scalloped frets 21-24. I have read that DBKs didn´t come with scalloped frets....

Please, does anyone know if some DBKs came with a scallped 21-24 frets? Mine is a 01 model. Thanks!

Do the "screw heads" still show? I always thought that they didn't scallop them because of the screw head markers.

Do you have any pics?

Hello, yes, my DBK has scalloped frets 21-24 and they totally seem factory...
Dartsum: The "screw heads" show perfectly. It does not look like an after marker job.

Sebastian: thanks, but mine has... maybe a specific badge for some market came with them...

I´ll post some pics.

Regards

I don't believe any DBK came from the factory with scalloped frets. But I could be wrong.

Here are some pics of my DBK with (factory?) scalloped frets...
To the experts out there, is this original? Thanks!

Looks like non-factory to me... It's not clean enough. For example, look how much more professional the scallops on this VWH are. Specifically, look along the frets. There's no flat spots; it's rounded right up to the frets...

Those don't look stock....they're not clean enough. Sorry to be blunt but they look very sloppy.

Not all are nicely done. Here's the scallops on my Franken JEM VWH with ebony board. 100% sure it is a real '93 1st year neck. Not pretty but works.

Thanks MetalHead52, the way your VWH has its frets scalloped looks almost identical to my DBK´s 21-24 frets. Interesting...

Both of mine aren't scalloped but I'd love to have it done to one of them.
