DNA cases...

Hey there guys...I was wondering, and I apologize if this has been addressed before, but does anyone know where the DNA cases are from? I don't have one, so I don't know, but I love the look of that case, and wondered if there was a way to get a case like that for my Jem7VWH. I just ordered it because my last one got stolen...

I spoke to Tim at Hoshino, and he suggested I try Rich Harris... so Rich? Any ideas man? Thanx in advance...

I saw the page on Ibanez Rules, with both the different DNA cases shown. The one I like is the square one, like a flight case. Not the one based on the UV1000C. This one has like butterfly latches on it, like a rack cover. :-)

The flight cases are made in China, the UV1000Y2K by TKL in Canada. Either way, there's only one way to get a Y2K case, ask everybody that owns a Y2K if they'll sell the case. Good Luck!! Eventually over time a case may get seperated from it's axe, but it's not going to happen much unless somebody starts paying crazy prices for the cases

Still...a call to TKL would hurt.

I wasn't so much into a DNA CASE...just the case that was used seems rather sturdy looking, and it looks like something I'd be more comfy throwing on a plane. It doesn't have to have all the DNA features, little symbols and such... I was just curious if the manufacturer made these cases available as a regular model, minus DNA appointments. Essentially, the same case but just plain..lol It kinda looks like a Anvil-type case. I will check out the TKL stuff though... Thanks guys!

The Y2K flight is a wannabie flight. There is no substitute for a real flight case.

I've been looking for a DNA case for my RG 320, since it's the best guitar in the world.

Wannabe? Is it too soft, or not well-made? Would I just be better off with the usual UV1000 case? I have a few of those, and they're okay, but I thought the other would have been better... thnks for the info Rich!

All wood construction, flimsey rails, handles prone to breaking, heavy as hell. There's no way it would pass ATA rating.

I saved my original box as in sarcasm (as well as extra protection) since the graphics on the top resemble the corners and railsof the flight case.
