Re: DNA's

Rodney, you should see it in real life, it is amazing. Also after much debate with myself, I actually gigged the DNA last night! I was sh*ting myself incase I chipped it though, it sounds stunning and turns alot of heads too! Not that my audience where not bothered about my Bands music.

Oh yeh Rodney, cool description of my guitar!

Re: DNA's

I thought DNA's were for [email protected] people

Coz they are all locked away so when you ask "where did you get that?" the reply comes "Came out the closet"

Re: DNA's

Having been around for awhile it's interesting to see how certain guitars (like the DNA) go through stages of - being wanted, having the price argued about because they cost too much brand new (and not being wanted), then after awhile they become a "desired item" to more and more.

I can still remember some of the big argu...discussions.

I guess at the time ATD was still around, so it was relatively easy to get your own ATD swirl. Also the Jem still had an Ebony fretboard (didn't it?) and lo-pro edge.

Yeah, but you wouldn't have a problem with that, right?

Btw, there is another cool DNA for sale at Evilbay. Imo a very cool one. What do you guys think?

Cheers, Sam

Re: DNA's

Yep, cool one. It's a pity that there is no case, sleeping bag and certificate, so collectors are out, means it's a player so let it rock.

you mean the one that claims to be Satchs? Sick swirl but seems over priced if thats what there basing it on, no case, cert, nothing.

Re: DNA's

pretty sure he means that one..been keeping an eye on it myself, also spoke to the seller who's going to try to get me a copy of the receipt to see what it says on it..sounds to me more like its just been signed by vai and satch, does anyone honestly think satch would let his dna just go..

Re: DNA's

Well it's clearly the DNA Satch has in his collection here:

(For those that noticed my earlier reticence, don't look at swirls when you're still jetlagged after flying home from New Zealand, nothing will make sense... !)
