Do all JS1200's have the "J-Craft" logo and JCraft cases?

Did the first year run of the JS1200 (2004) have the J-Craft logo'ing on the headstock and the Jcraft hardcase?

I just picked up a '04 that was in great condition - everything looks legit with it but now I'm a bit paranoid :-) The serial number showed as valid on The Guitar Dater website. The case that was included was not the larger JCraft red fur lined case but the smaller blue fur lined case (I think it is the M100C).

No. The first year was not J-Craft and came without the case. I have one of those too.

I don't think the J Craft cases showed up until 2005 IIRC. I didn't realize the JS1200's have been around since '04.

Congrats on your new axe.

Yes, the JS1200 came out in 2004 and I was able to find other info since I originally posted the question that J Craft cases came into existance in 05. Some think as a way to increase prices :-)

I was paranoid that I had bought a fake Ibanez since all the listings that I had previously seen showed the red J craft case. Mine came with the generic M100C case.

It's an awesome guitar - even though it was 5 yrs old, it was in better shape than some of the newer ones that i have seen for sale.
