Do any Hipshot D-Tuners match JS Cosmo hardware?

Just curious. I would like to put a GT2 extender on my fixed bridge JS6000 to let me go to instant drop-D tuning.

Hipshots sells a chrome one and a nickel one. Just wondering if anyone else has tried this and how close it matched.
