Basically all Donnies are production models. Typically 1 will come on the *market* a year, and usually I buy it

They're all quite uniquely 1 of a kind. He painted somewhere between 80 and 100.

Perseverence, dedication, and bankroll sums it up. I have a few secrets too  I've tracked down about 35 of them, every now and then one will become available and I usually get the call because I've already been in contact. They also know my intentions are pure, unlike some other online pukehead

Wow Rich that's amazing.
Well it looks like you have 7 now...

Do you ever play these boys/girls?
How do they play?
How many have Edge/LPE? I wouls suspect all are Edge.
Are they customs?

Of course I've played them all, but some of them are still crudy the way they came in the door. Typically the only time I really play em' is after they get cleaned and setup, that long checkout play. After wiping it down and it usually never gets touched again. I've got other players, although I've sold/selling a few and gave one away, I'm down to 2 players.
BTW They're boys!

They play like any JS1, It's the same guitar with a cool paintjob. I'll still swear the clearcoat makes them sound a little better. There is definately a consistency in higher quality though, where I'll run across 1's that slipped through the cracks.

92' was the switchover to the LPE so they have both.

Custom, only in that Ibanez calls them Custom Graphic, which they are. Otherwise they're stock JS.

That's so cool to hear someone's life passion become so fulfilled... well in my eyes.

You say the clearcoat affects the tone? That would be awesome.

What are your players? Any JEMs? I would assume JS.
How is your playing?

Fulfilled?! LOL Not quite

My players are all JS, but typically my player is whatever I'm working on. It's been a long time since I was serious about playing, it's just for fun now, but unfortunately it's more like work since I *have* to play to do my job right.
