Unhappy Elusive PMC

I have been searching for a PMC flat out for about a year and I have not had any shred of luck whatsoever.

I know they only made 271 of them- but jeez I didn't think they would be this hard to get a hold.

Just wondering if any one knows how frequently they pop up on Jemsite??

Re: Elusive PMC

Thanks for that Diamond Dave- greatly appreciated.

Oh man the fade on that is beyond heartbreaking, i can't believe the seller got almost 10 grand for a way faded player PMC- don't get me wrong I know they are beyond rare but that's a little ridiculous.
Blows me away that I did not come across it when I was browsing on ebay.
I can't believe Ibanez hasn't done another multi-colour besides the DNA, the multi-colours are just the best looking guitars ever produced IMO.

Re: Elusive PMC

Yeah, the pink that Darren was using back then faded BAD. The paint on the MKR Universes didn't seem to really fade at all. Speaking of that, a really nice first year MKR popped up for a very reasonable price yesterday but looks to already be gone.

That PMC was actually 'the' PMC, the one used in the promo material, hence the price. The seller is an ardent collector and highly respected member here

It might have joined his collection in that condition. I understand that it was on display at its former home...

What a shame for the ONE PMC to have in museum condition end up in this shape........ it's hardly recognizable.

Re: Elusive PMC

After looking into that PMC further I take back my comment about the price being ridiculous, I understand how valuable it is. How nice did it look in the promo shots, phwoar!
Damn! I wish i could get my hands on one of these babies
