EMERGANCY!!!!

I AM FREAKIN OUT! I JUST BROUGHT MY JEM HOMEAND HE STRINGS ABOVE THE LOCKING NUT WERE VERY LOOSE SO I TOOK THE LOCKING NUT OFF AND TRIED TUNING IT.....SOMETHING WENT WRONG. IT WON'T TUNE RIGHT AND THERE IS TERRIBLE FRET BUZZ. PLEASE POST INSTRUCTIONS OR WHAT I CAN DO TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM. OR I WOULD RATHER YOU EMAIL ME OR IF YOU HAVE AOL INSTANT MESSAGE ME.....PLEASE!

Tuning;

Just a shot in the dark, but have you ever tuned a guitar with a full-floating trem? Here's how: http://www.jemsite.com/tech/t_rstrng.htm
I'm guessing that the tension was loose above the locking nut and you took the locks off (not the whole nut, just the locks right?) and now the strings are so loose the trem is tilted back so the strings are buzzing against the fretboard. That's normal- just keep tuning it over and over until they're all up to pitch. Hope this helped. Later.

Thanx for all of your help. That is what happened. Im just going to take it to Guitar Center. I play guitar i don't work on them
