Is this a fake Jem?

Hi all,

I am just wondering whether if this is fake. Search around and found some of clues such as pickguard screws and JEM written on the headstock not being right... I am not very knowledgeable in the tremolo, thus would like some help to identify em.

What do you guys think?

Would like to thank in advance for anyone who help!

Re: Is this a fake Jem?

Wow. I really love the screws holding the nut on, the tuners and the bridge.

Next.

Seems a real one to me but pretty beat up... the jem logo seems right, the headstock shape and monkeygrip too, those are usually the 1st things you can identify as fake

The floyd is not the original one, it is a Floyd rose not an Ibanez edge

Anyway i'm not an expert but i think it is a real one in bad condition

You should post neck joint pictures too

String retainer is missing too... after watching mine the logo seems too small and the monkey grip the right size but not place properly... the pickguard job on the bottom cutaway is bad... probably a fake so...

Re: Is this a fake Jem?

I still think the funniest thing is the philips screws holding on the nut.

08 prestige non original bridge pretty sh!tty condition. Not worth the headache. the bridge alone would set you back 400.

Re: Is this a fake Jem?

You had to ask?
EDIT-
I'm sorry, I know that moment when you know, but do not want to know, very well. Sorry, but maybe it will be a decent cheap guitar anyway.
2nd EDIT-
The pickguard in itself is tell-tale enough. Ibanez has never used that number of screws nor the pattern for attaching it. Again, my condolences if it is yours, but maybe it can still be made to play decently with minimal work.
