Favorite 77FP Patterns?

After owning 6 or 7 of these up until now, only one remains and I just picked it up recently. I will be swapping the EMGs for some passive pickups, but I'm going to stay with the black plastics, as the look is what caught my eye initially. Out of all of the ones I've had, it's the pattern I like the most, mainly due to the reds and the "light" flowering. My all time favorite of those that I've seen was one that had very little flowering at all and had a lot of black and some vines. Anyway, here's a pic... Lets see your favorites.

Re: Favorite 77FP Patterns?

This is a slight variation on a very common FP pattern. What you have is shifted slightly up and towards the neck compared with what I have. It gives more red flowers in the picking area and a hint of a flower on the bottom of the guitar compared with what I have.

Those are gorgeous. I wish they were cheaper I like the newest floral too actually, it's a little more subdued than these but it's wonderful.

Freak:

Where did you get those pink strings?

My guess would be that it is Dr Neon 9-42, can be bought on 3bay cheaply, great strings, but they feel.. fluffy?

And the coating don't wear off after 5 minutes of playing..

Re: Favorite 77FP Patterns?

I had originally intended for the thread to be about the FP and not the FP2, but hey... If the FP2 is your favorite floral, then why not? With that said, I'd really like to see all of the variations on the original FP that are out there.

Re: Favorite 77FP Patterns?

Here's my old FP that I sold about 3 or 4 years ago. I bought it in 94. It's still the coolest FP I've seen, IMHO.

I love the first Jem with the Black EMG's. It looks mean. I almost bought one with black pups in 93. I wish I did now.

Re: Favorite 77FP Patterns?

Just curious but do all florals have scallopped frets? I've only played the 77FP2 so far :/

Re: Favorite 77FP Patterns?

Here's mine, bought all of these in the last couple of months, not bad for a bassist LOL

Gonna swap all the black for pink as soon as I can find some Paf Pro's that I don't need lube for
