Finally... DNA #137 & DNA canvas #137 are together!

Well...after 18 months, I've finally gotten my DNA swirled canvas from Darren at ATD! I wasn't sure what to expect, but...I was floored when I opened the box! It's utterly beautiful!

Here's a pic of the happy couple. Not the greatest quality...but it gets the point across!

Anybody else out there have the canvases?

Pardon my ignorance, what's the canvas? Was it done with leftover DNA paint? Explain please!

Darren at ATD did the canvases with the leftover DNA paint He was only going to do 150 canvases, and mine is numbered 137/150, but he may be able to do a little more than that. I'm honestly not sure though. If you're interested, you could e-mail him and ask him if he's going to do any more.

One other thing...I think that the "Blood Red" used on the canvases is actual DNA paint that's leftover (with Vai's blood), but only Darren knows for sure.

LOL.....eeeeewwww...lick the canvas....not a pleasant thought! There is a clear coat on it though, just to be safe

And, yes Joel, that is an RG-ART behind the DNA, and an RG-GEAR behind that and so on and so on...too much stuff! LOL (not that I'd part with ANY of it!).

Thanks all!
Chris

Chris, very cool. Are you going to frame the canvas?

I'm working on getting a frame for it now. It's going to hang in the middle of an all-white wall, so I'll probably just go for something very very simple. Most likely a plain black frame, so as to not detract from the canvas itself.

I'm not much of swirl fan but having the two numbers together definately has a cool factor to it.

Keep the DNA canvas ... but can I have the PAW canvas (poster?) behind it?

He he he
