Re: Fret Buzz

What hard picking has to do with fret buzz?
All my guitars have low action and almost no buzz.
It's possible to remove all buzz but it depends on your guitar action and neck relief.
Low there'll be always some buzz.

See that banner at the top of the forum that says "Ibanez rules" with all the swirls in the background? Yeah, click it.

well 6fingers, on some strings, there can be no fret buzz, but if u pick really hard there'll be fret buzz.

So really hard to you probably means almost breaking a string!
Sometimes I pick hard sometimes soft,no buzz.
But my guitars have perfect set ups,if you can't do a perfect set up take it to a pro,if he knows what he's doing probably almost all buzz will stop.

Re: Fret Buzz

either your guitar is set up poorly,
or, you have an irrational expectation of what a guitar is supposed to sound like

Hey there Zach,

Like FWD120 said....... you really want to go to the Ibanez Rules website and spend a lot of time in the tech section.......You will learn a WHOLE lot about the proper way to set up an Ibanez.

Sadly, There are VERY few tech's out in the world that know the RIGHT way of setting up an Ibanez. Unfortunately, it sounds like yours is not one of them. Your guitar should not be "buzzing on the 4th fret ever..... period. Other than the possibility of neck damage, your problem is definitely setup.

My 16 year old son learned to do setups from IbanezRules and now does them for all of the kids at school.......... so I know that with a little time invested, your guitar will be playing the way you always wanted it to............
