Fretboard radius for vintage Ibanez 'Gibson' copy?
Does anyone know what the fretboard radius is for a 1977 Ibanez 2650?
It's a really sweet Les Paul Custom (black w/gold hardware), NOT a bolt-on.
I'm thinking it's probably 12"...…..like a Gibson.
Why am I asking?
It was recently re-fretted.
The radius is now at 9.25".

Cool guitar! Definitely not 9.25... Looks more like 12 or so by eyeballing one. Why would someone change the radius during a refret? I just had my old LP done a while back and it really changed the feel of it, but not the radius.
I have no idea.
The tech swears he didn't alter the radius.
In the 1970's, Ibanez went to great lengths to copy Gibson's guitars.
It makes no sense that they'd get every detail right, and then choose a different radius than Gibson's 12".
I've owned this axe since 1978........my favorite out of all my axes.
And now it's entire personality has been altered.
