GG JS100 Snakes #2

This is the second JS Snakes guitar that I've done. The first one was a JS1000. This one was a JS100. All the electronics were changed over to JS1000 parts. The JS100 knobs don't fit, so new JS1000 knobs also. DiMarzio Fred in the neck, MoJo in the Bridge.

The reason I made the comment is because everyone always has to throw their .02 cents in to bag on a JS100. It's Guitar Guru's project, let him apply his paint job on the guitar of his choice. If you think it belongs on a better guitar, he's an idea. Do it YOURSELF and put it on the guitar you deem worthy. Otherwise, appreciate the time and effort put into this project and keep the dumbass comments about what guitar it "should" go on to yourself.

It's that simple, he put a lot of time and effort into the project. I'm sure the last thing he wants to hear is "what guitar it should have gone on." He did the project to show what he's capable of and what is apparently a hobby that he really loves to do.

But I keep forgetting with this crowd, if the guitar on display isn't a J Custom, or Prestige or JEM then it really isn't worthy of much anything else. You guys need to grow up and realize there's more to life in the guitar world than your "insert random Jem/J Custom/Prestige here" guitar.

Settle down Swirled777. Dani's comment is not out of line. I agree that guru does a great job and to wish that this awesome paint job was on a higher end model is not knocking the great paint job. No need to call people names.

It wasn't directed at anyone per se. And not really at him, hence why I didn't quote him in my comment. It was more on a broader spectrum. Because I've seen it in the past, when someone does something great with a "lesser" model guitar. You always get that one "delta bravo" that has to come in and drop the proverbial "well, it would have been better if you had done X with it." Yeah we all know that had he done it to a JS1000, it would have been a great thing. And I would be willing to bet had he done it with a JS1000, the delta bravo's of the site wouldn't come out to throw in the comments of it being done on a better guitar. But the fact that it was done on a JS100, still makes that JS100 a great guitar. Maybe not to "holier than thou's" of the site in terms of the "if it ain't expensive, it ain't s-bomb" mindset.

And my apologies, I didn't think dropping a "delta alpha" was name calling. Always better than dropping a few "Micheal Foxtrots" down.
