Going to the studio today!

Well i just wanted to share this, our band is going to the studio to record a song, for a contest.
We have to record 1 song in 12 hours(including mixing). and the recorded song is going to be played on the radio the whole next week, and people are going to vote for the song the like the most, we are 8 bands in total on the contest.
So i wanted to share this moment with you jemsiters, right now its 6:38 am and i have to be in the studio at 8:50am(by the way i couldnt sleep well )
Thanks for your attention.

Wish me luck!!!

Sounds like fun

I'm going into the studio at school on Sunday with my band (both me and our drummer are in the Music Industry Arts program, so we're sharing engineering duties, and also producing ourselves). We've got two sessions, one from 5-8:00am, the other from 5-8:00pm. So, 6 hours, and we want to get it recorded and mixed in that time. We're planning to get bed tracks down and start overdubs in the morning (drums first, since we'll want to get them done while we have the kit mic-ed up and sounding good rather than have to set it all up again in the evening), then finish overdubs in the evening, and mix it.
