Got a JEM - Yeeeehaw... And it was cheap too.

I know I've been b*tchin' about those european prices, but Look and thou shall find..
I've got a killer deal for a JEM 7 DBK. I traded my JS-1000 in, so I practicly made profit from it too..
The guy in the store obviously didn't know anything about Ibanez... "Is that a JS-1000?" He tried to rip me off too, said that it was a bad looking JS (it was dead mint). Well, he offered a good price for it, so I got the jem.
By the way, the JEM was priced about 800 dollar below european listprice.
I haven't got the change to really play it yet, but the first impression is WOW! Got one of them Dimarzio straps with it too, and they included a Ibanez hardshell case....
Me happy..

Got a JEM

The more you play it the more you'll love it. Mine is my main ax. It's the one that get beat the most, mostly because the finish is almost indestructable...

I absolutly love the neck..

Congrats Jeroen,

$800 below listprice. That will be.... calculate..think...think...calc...think... ehhhhh
Something like $1200 maybe?

Do they have a good selection in store? Is it worth it for me to go to Holland for my next purchase?

Got a JEM

Salem,
They don't have a good selection. I had to reserve this one, a couple of weeks ago, because if it were sold, they wouldn't be able to get another one. However, keep your eyes on that german store, music productiv. I think they have a good price too.

Brian, I still have my project guitar laying around, and I will finish building it. But it will probably remain a RG, but with EVO's. But I'll work on that slowly.

The last couple of months I spend a lot of money on equipment (mixer, morly wah, boss ds-1, a delay, the Jem), so now I'll just start saving again for a while.

Thanks folks!

My DBK is my main axe too, and i really really like the neck, more because i'm not very tall and my hands are not too big. Fits me good, and sounds good. I pay $1350 here in Brazil were the prices on item like these are abnormal high !!!

Congrats and play
