Just did this one over the weekend. It's getting clear coated tomorrow. Check out more at http://www.GuitarGuruLLC.com

Re: Guitar Guru Swirl #6

Looks a little splotchy, and the colours don't contrast enough for my liking.
Great looking swirl though, I think the purple splotches actually look pretty cool!

Reminds me of some kind of cheesecake.

Great work, it looks nice, though I can see how it wouldn't be to everyone's taste.

I can see what you mean about the contrast in color. There wasn't any blue or purple paint in the tank. It was black. After it gets clear coated, the contrast comes out a little more.

Thanks,

Rick

Re: Guitar Guru Swirl #6

*Assuming you're trying to nail something like ATD*, and with all due respect -- you're definately getting there. If someone took that photo and deleted all those little black splotches, your swirl would pratically be there.

If you're not going for that, still an improvement. Less of a tie dye and more of a swirl.

I dunno, I *love* those little spots of color. They remind me of the storms in the atmosphere of Jupiter. I think it's a pretty cool swirl.

I'd like a little more contrast possibly, but yeah man, I'm diggin' that one. Good work.

i dont really like it, its not really neat. im not saying they didnt do a good job, because they did but i have some hardcore OCD when it comes to swirls. i like all the colors to be loose and wavy with some swirl vortex circles (never happens ) and i like lots of green but this is really good, just not my thing

That looks wicked. You are very skilled at your craft. I would very much like to see this one completed with cosmo hardware and red & white pickups. Possibly a matching red/white/black pyramid inlay neck to boot. Great job!
