Help me date this Ibanez JS

I bought this Ibanez JS on ebay in 2007 and I don't know what year it was produced. I think it's a JS1. There's no more serial number so I can't find out. It was listed as a Ibanez JS1000 but it was not produced till 1994, I believe. Here it is. can anyone help find out what year this was made and what model it is ?

I'm not certain that's a JS or even a real Ibanez. The bridge obviously isn't, there is no string tree, the bass side of the neck pocket looks fat, you'd have to post more close ups, but especially the neck plate number.

That headstock looks off as well. I'm thinking Chibanez.

Re: Help me date this Ibanez JS

Knobs are wrong, as well, and the pickups - with one slug, one flat-head-screw - are definitely not a PAF Pro/Fred set, which have two rows of allen screws.

2007 would have been the early days of Chibanez imports, I think, especially if the guitar had enough wear/age to credibly be a 1994, so it's also possible that this was some sort of a custom job with an Ibanez logo on the headstock - if you'd played it for 11 years with no concerns about build quality or anything like that, it seems less likely that it'd be a poorly made Chinese knockoff...
