Question Hey guys, does this Jem seem to be OK?

Hey guys,

Someone offered me an used "mint" 2001 Jem for a really good price. He lives far away from me, so I don't have the chance to see the guitar personally. It seems to be one of the last ebony + Lo Pro made, right? He sent me these pictures, does it seem to be OK?

1/6

2/6

3/6

4/6

5/6

6/6

Thanks.

By okay, I assume you mean real. Yes, it looks real to me. Tell him to throw in the girl's pink sandal and it's a deal. Oh, and the condition of that thing looks great. This guy ever play it?

Also, if you can spot something like a twisted/misaligned neck, tremolo anomalies, etc. Anything that your trained eyes could spot on these pictures.

LOL, I've just seen it.

He plays in a band, but he has other guitar. This is his second one, so I believe it has not been played much. It indeed seems to be in great shape, that's why I'm concerned about the good price he asked.

Well, there are members of this site that are much better equipped to spot stuff like that. That said, I don't see anything wrong with it.

100% original

very clean- great condition for being 13 years old.

Not in mint condition- the usual trem finish wear is present on the saddles and baseplate. Rear cavity screws have the finish worn off as well.
