My guitar Nr.1 is JEM, so for start, some pics of my two JEM model that I build:

Re: Home made JS guitar

woooow, its amazing....yeah, guitar is amazing...I`m beginner in guitar building, and I have lot to learn but I have time...
One thing that I don`t like on guitar neck is shark inlay...simply I don`t like it...For JS model everything else except dot inlay is to much for me...but that`s only me...

Re: Home made JS guitar

I'm planning to build a homemade JS6 too. I have a solid piece of Honduran mahogany that I got hooked up with. Planning to start next year. I was going to just buy a neck though. Not sure what neck yet. Probably a tele or strat headstock, was considering doing a reverse headstock for it.

There's another guy online that has a web page showing his homemade JS6 throughout the steps.

Twin, yours looks awesome man. Keep us updated on your progress!!

Re: Home made JS guitar

Man you should glue that chair's fabric over it and clear coat it just like Vai did with those flowers.
Awesome
